President

B.S. in Biology from Baldwin Wallace University. 42 years of experience.

John started the company in 1977 in Pompano Beach, Florida and it has continued growing ever since. Working closely with his seasoned management and science teams, John’s vision and strategic plan of applied lake management research coupled with total customer care has grown Aquatic Systems into a leadership position with 11 Florida field offices throughout the state.
John runs a business which is nationally recognized as being highly ethical, scientifically advanced, environmentally sensitive, and customer centric. Aquatic Systems is respected by universities, researchers, regulators, competitors and clients for its research and expertise in restoring impaired Florida lakes using natural, environmentally sound technologies that nurture and protect the aquatic ecosystem.
Through John’s leadership and passion for the environment, the company’s managers and scientists have pioneered many of Florida’s lake management industry’s procedures including ecologically safe, healthy and natural weed and algae control methods, utilization of lake aeration for improving water quality and reducing toxic algae blooms and in-lake restoration technologies that reduces phosphorus and nitrogen pollution now a major threat to Florida’s lakes and waterways.
John was a founding member and a past Director of the Florida Aquatic Plant Management Society, past Director and currently Committee Chair in the national Aquatic Plant Management Society and member of the Florida Lake Management Society and other scientific, civic and charitable organizations.
Aquatic Systems is first in the industry to have its own lake restoration research lab and aquatic plant and algae lab enabling us to provide fast, accurate and affordable lake assessments, algae identification and long term sustainable lake management solutions for our clients.

Kiley DeHaven

General Manager

Corporate Administration - Kiley has a B.S. in Business Administration - Florida Atlantic University. 30 years of experience.

Kiley has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University and is a General Manager responsible for all corporate administrative functions, policies and procedures.  She crafts company-wide policies and procedures as well as create organizational structures that have enhanced efficiency across all departments.  She directly supervises the Accounting, Customer Service, Sales Support and Human Resources teams – coordinating their efforts with the end goal of providing excellent customer service to customers, vendors and employees. She is the resident trouble shooter – always ready to help any staff improve their departmental performance and results.  Kiley has 30 years of experience with Aquatic Systems.

Laurie Pozzy

Sales Coordinator

30 years sales support experience.

Laurie coordinates all of the inside sales support activities for the company with General Managers, District Managers, Sales Managers and Account Rep/Biologists. She is the “go to” person when guidance is needed with changes to customer accounts, renewals, bids, permits, apps, and more. She’s been with the company for 10 years.

Laurie’s background is in the administrative field with strong emphasis in sales. She takes pride in being able to assist the field staff on new projects, conducting research and providing excellent customer service to our customers.

Anne Marie Troher

Customer Service Coordinator

30 years customers service experience.

Anne Marie and her team act as the liaison between the customer, our service managers and the corporate office. She supports our Service Managers to provide excellent customer service, supervises all activity within the customer service department and manages aeration and fountain maintenance. Her responsibilities also include troubleshooting and researching service solutions for customers, managing the Triploid carp and sport fish stockings, and overseeing the work of team. She has been with the company for 12 years.

Anne Marie, with more than 30 years of customer service and management experience, is an asset to our company. She genuinely takes pride in finding solutions that will satisfy the customers and service teams, and the opportunity to learn something new about Florida lake and wetland management every day.
