Ft. Myers Office Announces Promotions

In our continuing effort to offer the highest level of science-based lake management services to our customers, the Ft. Myers office of Aquatic Systems has promoted the following people.

Adam Finney has been promoted to the position of Service Manager in the Ft. Myers office. Adam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University. His field of study included environmental biology, ecology, forest ecology, environmental technology and GIS Mapping. He has been working in the field for our Ft. Myers office since 2011. EPA Approves FL’s Rules to Protect Waterways from Nutrient Pollution

ATLANTA  11/30/2012– EPA has approved the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s (FDEP) rules to protect Florida’s waterways from excess nitrogen and phosphorus. These pollutants, called “nutrients,” cause algal blooms, contaminate drinking water supplies and are among the largest contributors to water quality problems in Florida. FDEP’s rules establish numeric limits on the amount of nutrient pollution allowed in statewide springs, lakes, streams and some estuaries. Read more »

Service Managers are now Master Naturalists
