Venice Golf & Country Club
VGCC is host to twenty six storm water retention ponds which comprise approximately fifty nine acres of total surface water. Aquatic Systems began lake management service for The Venice Golf & Country Club ponds in October 2008.
This Venice, Fl community is also home to thirteen preserve areas, for which Aquatic Systems began maintenance in January of 2010.
"Venice Golf and Country Club is unique because they have proactively taken the steps to control and remove exotic tree species such as Brazilian Pepper and Melaleuca from their preserve areas on a voluntary basis. No one forced them to do it" says Aquatic Systems District Manager Jeff Whaley.

The community started this program as part of a detailed plan that allowed them to seek and receive Audubon certification in 2001”, according to on site manager Barbara Jean Thomas. She, along with Club Manager Jim Shell, has been at the helm of this project along with a very active board from the beginning.
