WetlandManagement
Throughout Florida,
native aquatic plants and trees are being used by Aquatic Systems
in the remediation and creation of wetland and other natural area
eco-systems. A new or pre-existing habitat is improved by the removal
of exotic plants and subsequent introduction of desirable native
species to imitate natural communities and, thereby, mitigate the
impact of a surrounding development.
Benefits
of an ASI wetland mitigation program:
Creation of a wildlife sanctuary and waterfowl nesting areas
A buffer zone providing erosion deterrent
Increased wildlife
food chain supply
A natural water purification system
Enhanced aesthetics
Increased property values.
The
three basic stages of an ASI wetlands program are:
1) Plant Installation
2) Site Management

3) Project
