See dead fish floating on your lake? There are several reasons why a fish kill might occur from a nutrient overload, low oxygen levels to rapidly changing water temperatures. Florida communities have seen fish kills and contacted us about why and how it happened and asked us for help cleaning up the fish and preventing future kills. We’re glad to share that info with people who would like to know more. We also wrote an article about it.
The Community Association Institute’s (CAI) national magazine Common Ground published our Fish Kill Article in their Nuts and Bolts column. The column addresses straightforward, hands-on advice on repairs, upkeep and the like. Common Ground was distributed to members, guests and vendors at their annual conference and exposition from May 9 to 12 this year in Washington, DC. CAI has 35,000 members and 63 chapters worldwide.
